We received word back from the Postal Service today on what the pay adjustment is on the checks coming out this week (October 14, 2022). The adjustment on this check is related to employees who used leave under the Families First Coronavirus Recovery Act. Here is the specific message they sent:
It is only going to employees who used COVID Families First leave and had some type of premium pay in the look back period.
Only employees who used this leave are getting this adjustment and it is not related to the retroactive payments of the contract.
Retro-active pay is still scheduled to be on the pay checks dated October 28, 2022.
